  • Welcome!

    My name is Tonya RIggs and I'm a natural light photographer. I don't believe in using harsh flash or studio light on my subjects, especially babies. During our time together, I mainly use natural lighting from my windows with almost all my home studio sessions or when I'm on a location such as your home. I also love to capture children in more natural surroundings such as parks and beaches or even their own backyards. My years as a first grade teacher and mother help me relate to children on a fun level. Expect our time to be carefree and fun. I strive to capture the fleeting childhood moments we all wish to secretly bottle up. I am blessed beyond words to be on this photography journey and delighted to be able to give my clients such treasured keepsakes.
    Thanks for stopping by!

{Mr. M Turns 1}

Sweet brown eyed Mr. M came to see me today for a little 1st birthday session.

Apparently, I wasn’t too funny today but we did manage to find two things that brought out his smiles…. sail boats and cupcakes! So much fun to hear his little yum yum sounds and see his toothy grins as he enjoyed his birthday cupcake.

Thank you E Family! Enjoy your peek!

{Miss Sweetie Pie}

Had a darling red head come visit me today! I nick named her Miss Sweetie Pie because I could just eat her all up! Love her red hair and her cute toothy grins. Such a fun age to photograph!

Thanks for bringing your Sweetie Pie to me today, Rachel!  I’m so happy Miss L was feeling better and in the happiest of moods for our Vday mini makeup session.

{3 and 1 Sibling Session}

I so enjoy photographing these two age groups! At 3 and 1 years old, some would say that it can be a challenge to photograph but I think I like the challenge of it. Mom explained her children perfectly to me over the phone. Mr. C age 3, was charming and fun and Miss A was adorable but at age 1 was a little harder to pull the grins out.  She preferred to be on the move and drinking her bottle with mama close by.  We worked a little magic though and between mommy’s songs and easy going attitude, I think I was able to capture those sweet lil grins of hers.

Many more precious images to come D Family but here are some of my favs to share with you today.

 Enjoy!

XoXo,

T
