An indoor studio maternity may not be for everyone but they are slowly becoming a more popular choice with expecting parents. I have found that there is are 5 main reasons clients make the choice of booking an indoor studio maternity session with me.

1. Controlled Temperature. Some expecting moms find their body temperatures get pretty elevated during pregnancy. The idea of having air conditioning or a fan near by to cool them during the warmer Spring and Summer months here in the Valley is very appealing for moms in their last trimester.
2. Flexibility. Studio sessions can be done anytime of the year. You are not subject to the changing weather conditions or the hassle of having to reschedule the session around it.
3. Privacy. An indoor studio session offers my clients the privacy to change outfits and be near a clean bathroom. If they are in need of touching up their makeup or hair, they can easily do so without fighting the elements of the outdoors like the wind or bugs.
4. Intimate Setting. New mothers and dads feel more at ease in a private studio setting. It allows for more intimate type posing and wardrobe options.
5. Siblings Included. My indoor studio experience offers more focus and less distraction for busy toddlers and older children. During these sessions, I always take the opportunity to spotlight the big brother or big sisters in a few images by themselves or with just mom and dad before their newest sibling arrives.
