6 is my new favorite age. Ok! Ok! I have quite a few favorite ages I love to photograph but six is a sweet little marker in childhood. Learning to read, tie shoes, follow directions, loose teeth, and having a great sense of humor. It all comes together as children learn new skills in school and start to really bloom. I connect with this age so much because of my background as a first grade teacher. Perhaps that is why I’m a bit partial to this age. Either way, it makes for the perfect milestone session where I can freeze a bit of that for my clients.
